Former Super Eagles stars: Nwankwo Kanu and Victor Agali, have paid a surprise visit to team’s training session, according to Goal.
Agali and Kanu turned up at the session at Aero Sport Club as Gernot Rohr’s men prepare for their African Cup of Nations semi-final against Algeria on Sunday.
Kanu, who’s considered one of the greatest players in Super Eagles’ history, has been a staunch supporter of the three-time African champions in Egypt.
Kanu was quoted as saying that, “My presence will help the players to victory against Algeria.”
The Super Eagles will trade tackles with Algeria for the ninth time in AFCON history, becoming both sides’ most-played encounter.
The record between them is perfectly balanced – three wins each and two draws
